Marcelle

Marcelle is a 5 hours long performance presented at Nuit Blanche 2009, Metz, France. Marcelle is a character of Georges Bataille’s book « L’Histoire de l’Oeil », dealing with the first access to erotization of children, when gender does not matter that much. The performance deals with the question of sexual identity, the external signs learned to match a specific gender especially suffered by little girls.
